Book 5. S-World VSN ™ (Virtual Social Network)

S-World VSN - Virtual Social Network

For those who would cry ‘Comparative Advantage,’ and insist that one should focus on what one is best at and trade for everything else, we have an important chapter dedicated to this macroeconomic and everyday concept in Book 2. Part 2. ‘A More Creative Capitalism.’

However, in terms of the 8 books of ‘Angel Theory – Paradigm Shift,’ all can be traced back to this book, Book 5. S-World VSN™ (S-World Virtual Social Network).

It would not be incorrect to say that all other books are how best to capitalize on this Virtual World & Simulation; financially, ecologically, socially, philanthropically, and spiritually.

The very name S-World (under which everything falls into in one way or another) is a reference to a virtual world.

Let’s go back to 2012 and to American Butterfly Book 1:
The Theory of Every Business. Chapter 7. S-World:

Sienna’s World (2012)

Sienna's-World(2012)

“S-World is an abbreviation for Sienna’s World; named after my daughter, the most beautiful baby in the world. I know, every father says that about his daughter, but one has to admit she’s a cutie. On informing my father about the makeup of the business and networking software, plus my decision to name it after Sienna, he came up with a rather pertinent acronym.”

Super Intelligent Engine for New Network Access

“As the environment the SIENNA software lives in is to be a Virtual World, the word “World” was added thus resulting in making Sienna’s World, shortened to “S-World.” Within S-World’s Virtual World, Sienna will appear as an Angel helping to bring attention to specific items of interest.”

End of extract

S-World is also short for ‘The Sienna Foundation,’ a (to be created) charitable foundation that makes S-World Laws, presides over ‘Give Half Back’ spending, has a lot of influence in POP Profit spending, and has a significant vote in all S-World Super Projects such as The TBS™, S-World VSN™ & S-World UCS™

Different Types of Virtual Tours and Worlds

1. 2-D Virtual Worlds like ‘The SIMS’ from the year 2000, but only available on the internet years later.

2. 2-D Virtual Tours online, made from stitching photographs together, pioneered in Flash (the most appropriate medium for the internet) by myself in 2002, and later by Google in 2006 (albeit I don’t know if they used Flash).

3. 3-D Virtual Worlds that require goggles, like the Oculus Rift platform created in 2012, bought by Facebook in 2016 and loved by CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

“Mark Zuckerberg says he’s building virtual reality because he isn’t satisfied with reality, which he considers to be “limited”. The Facebook founder wants to get one billion people using VR technology, which he claims to be capable of offering an improvement over the real world.”

www.independent.co.uk

“Whenever people say that we’re building virtual reality because we’re not satisfied with the one we live in, my answer is, ‘Of course we are.’”

Mark Zuckerberg

4. Future Technology 1. Semi-Submerged Reality, as seen recently in Spielberg’s film ‘Ready Player One’ by Ernest Cline; which was actually written in 2011 and as such was way ahead of its time, in which technology has improved in rendering and immersion, but the user is always conscious so there is no reason why this can’t be done in the near (ish) future.

5. Future Technology 2. Submerged Reality 1, first seen (by me) on the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica as V-World in 2011. This technology is not yet available in real life, but you can bet there are people working on it.

In Submerged Reality, one is in the Virtual World/Universe/Multiverse within a type of dream state, and everything is controlled by the mind. Whilst this sounds far-fetched, I read somewhere a few years back that they were working on this, to give people who are paralysed the experience of movement. But I’ve not heard anything since. Fortunately, in my immediate wish list of people I wish to contact includes Corrie Bagman from Chan Zuckerberg Science and the Allen Institute; who will be able to give an update and maybe even a timetable to this technology.

A Brief History of S-World VSN™ – 2000 to 2018

S-World VSN™ and its sister S-World VBN™ (Virtual Business Network) are the oldest S-World systems; started in 2000. After troubleshooting with US developers for Macromedia Fireworks, they invited me to see their new product Flash in action at a lecture in London. And there it was, this beautiful spinning view of the Alps, set to Kylie Minogue’s ’Spinning Around.’

This was awesome, and it was exactly the way I wished to build websites for my soon to be new home in beautiful Cape Town; where there are no shortage of mountains, oceans, and other beautiful things.

A Brief History of S-World VSN

However, in conversation post lecture, I was informed that the spinning picture was made in Macromedias (now Adobe’s) movie making software Director and only the music was in Flash, which was a big let-down; albeit it was suggested that I may be able to simulate the spinning picture effect within Flash. And by 2002, I created the world’s first simulated virtual tour made exclusively in Macromedia Flash. By 2004, it was offered its own digital TV channel; I was meeting with Galileo GDS about online bookings, and the project had the potential to be the next big thing in real estate and travel, but I could not do it on my own.

So, I set off to South Africa’s capital Johannesburg to find some investors, but I was very inexperienced in this area. And after 3 months, I had to return to Cape Town as by this point, my only income was from Cape Villas.com and with the season starting, I was needed back at home. And after, whilst we kept adding virtual tours on Cape Villas.com, but the ‘Big Virtual Project’ (The Guide) was side-lined; and then, in a massive blow, I forgot to renew the domain and we lost it. Arrrrrrrrr! But it’s pretty close to the version on Cape Villas.
(If you look, don’t be worried if your antivirus kicks in, it’s due to the prehistoric Flash Files, not an actual virus. Oh, and it no longer works on Firefox, and I’m not sure about mac browsers either.)

Had I been in Silicon Valley, things would have likely turned out differently.

However, one thing I could take away from the exercise is that I have been thinking about how to make money from an internet based virtual world longer than anyone else.

But before the specifics of making money, an important note, in fact a critical point, is that S-World VSN™ is not only for uses with virtual goggles, it will also be on line in 2-D (like The SIMS and SIM CITY); but using fractal geometry and improved graphics, and available on game consoles, TV, and of course mobile devices.

S-World VSN Mobile

A handful of years later, in May 2011, the Virtual Tour was upgraded to the idea of a Virtual World which fit like a glove to the existing network plan. First, a rough sketch of the idea for Google; and a few months later, a more concise sketch of an idea for Facebook, to be more properly presented a year later as the 7th chapter of American Butterfly – The Theory of Every Business. S-World.

Since the creation of this chapter saves some ideas on the rendering and the probable need for many small satellites, my time has been spent developing the rest of the books in this Paradigm Shift series, which (as stated just a moment ago) all stem from S-World VSN™.

Plus, I will admit being a bit stumped for new ideas. However, since I started this article, I’ve devoured Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One and have some awesome ideas for the Simulated Universe attached to S-World VSN™, and a freakishly cool idea for S-World Films (Book 6) movie plots regarding S-World VSN™, care of Professor James Gates. More on both of these points later, for now, just appreciate that I am on a roll.

Virtual Social Network

Before we look at new ideas, let’s have a better look at the basics.

The social network idea is simple in principle; we create a complete copy of the world, and users can ‘Teleport to GPS’ to jump to friends’ or celebrities’ locations (so long as friends and celebrities have VSN™ tracking on) and see all they could see in a virtual world, in which both you and your friend can walk around and explore.

And if something is not clear, you friend only needs to photograph it a few times; this will add to the simulation and you can now see it clearly (at least that’s the idea).

Here is the original twitter idea from 2012:

S-World VSN

Nice and simple, having already loaded up your favourite celebrities, it shows all the celebrities that have their S-World VSN™ tracking set to ‘follow’ on. You see where they are in the world, then you may teleport to their position, and you will be within a virtual world with them, and probably a few other fans.

Sometimes this interaction will be just via S-World VSN™; but at other times, if the celebrity or celebrities wished to draw attention to something, an S-World Film (or other) film crew would follow the events, making a truly interactive experience. An example of U2 in Cape Town first climbing Table Mountain, then going to the Mandela Park township, and later playing in a concert is presented on the original 2012 S-World page. It’s pretty cool, you may want to take a look.

S-World VSN ™

Where you are
Where your friends are
Where you’d like to go
And what you’d like to see

S-World VSN™ – Where shall we go today?

S-World VSN (Virtual Social Network)

One can make many lists; such of famous landmarks, potential holiday destinations, houses to rent or buy, friends on holiday, and others. And in this scenario, note that if one teleports to a basic rendered part of the network, the friends who were there can (when we develop the technology) take a bunch of photos using the camera app, and the whole screen will render. And your friend will have been awarded some S-World credits or points for assisting with the rendering.

(S-World Credits are kind of like US dollar gift vouchers that can be redeemed at most S-World companies. Importantly, they often have a short period of validation, this is due to the ŔÉŚ equation from Books 2. Part 2, and Book 3.)

Rendering S-World VSN

In regard to rendering, the Virtual World would need a basic footprint, almost definitely some triangulated satellite data. This framework would then be turned into a reasonable representation, which would be enhanced greatly by people photographing with the (to be created) S-World VSN™ app that matches the photos to the basic framework created from the satellite data; so, people’s photos would contribute to picture-perfect rendering. Where after, a thousand ways to incentivise people to add to the rendering will be enacted, from tourism boards to S-World real estate, travel, and other companies; to schools, to simply giving network credits or points to anyone who added to the rendering.’

And of course, there’s the love of it, given the sort of popularity of other photos; first, social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. People may just start rendering their local area and spots they wished to share, just for the love of it.

Making Money in S-World VSN™

Money will be made in many different ways; for a start, S-World VSN™, The TBS™, S-World Film & S-World UCS™ all share in 3.125% of cash flow from all Grand Network companies; and depending on the gross profit, a similar fee also is applied to all virtual companies, such as Villa Secrets.

Continuing from the last book. Book 4. Part 2. ‘Villa Secrets,’ one audacious idea is to create S-World VSN™ as a better version of the MLS (Multiple Listings Service) taking a 0.5% commission from most properties sold in the USA. And create a similar system across the world, where each property on the system presented not only a picture-perfect walk through (so accurate one can see the view from every bedroom), but also technical details like architect plans; and other such details alongside location reports from major details like schools to more obscure details, but nevertheless useful points (to some) such as who is keeping bees in their garden. Add to this many photos and videos made over time, and when added to the 3-D walk through, the product deserves to become the industry norm.

It may not necessarily create a lot of sales, as it’s rare for people to buy homes online. But via a process of elimination, it becomes a tool for a client to see a hundred homes in a few hours, and then choose a few to visit. I can tell you from my own experience, one should look at every possible home in the location not just a few. This technology will nudge buyers into doing the correct due diligence on what, for most, is the single biggest financial decision of their lives.

The MLS or not, for sure all Villa Secrets partners would have a huge advantage against companies without S-World VSN™ representation. Note that in all likelihood, to add a property for sale on S-World VSN™, one would need to go through a Villa Secrets partner realtor; which by 2024, should include almost every affluent location in the world.

S-World VBN (Virtual Business Network)

There are obviously huge opportunities in travel, especially when added to ‘The Famous Concierge’ and other S-World frills. But I will not get into this here for fear of adding a further score of pages to what is supposed to be a summary. I will create a dedicated chapter later.

Theoretically, the biggest opportunities and the biggest reason we need this software is the displaying and selling of real estate (both commercial and residential) in S-World property developments which are the subject of Book 2. Part 2. ‘A More Create Capitalism’ and the Lake Malawi Grand Network.

Lake Malawi - S-World UCS Grand Network

VSN™ shall create the entire Lake Malawi Grand Network in glorious 3-D; and in particular, the Network City (which is currently the biggest single projected income source) for off plan sales.

Note that in Book 3. ‘The GDP Game,’ we show the ‘how’ to creating many more Grand Networks in countries with low GDP; and likely, many in the US and Europe as well. If there is a free lunch to be had for estate agents because of Grand Networks, it’s the free lunch that just keeps giving.

And of course, looking to the future, or in fact looking ‘back to the future’ as the plan for MARS Resort 1 were mostly created before the Lake Malawi simulation, the Virtual Systems VSN™ and VBN™ will (over two or three decades) see millions of players adding to the online simulation, creating the plans for a real MARS Resort 1.

S-World VSN - MARS Resort1

How can we be confident that millions of people will want to play our game and add to the simulations? That’s simple, money… This point is straying into the domain of S-World UCS™ (Book 7); but in many ways, UCS™ is an extension of VSN™ and there are many synergies between that two.

For a long time now, the off plan creation of property developments (big or small)
would be gamified so users that created the virtual properties and virtual cities that were chosen by individuals, companies, asset management companies et al. were paid big time; up to 6 figures for a $10 million property chosen by a client, many millions for a Network City (1 square km of development); and potentially, hundreds of millions for a Network City in MARS Resort 1 (so long as Elon Musk and SpaceX can get us there).

MARS Resort1 - Universal Colonization Simulator

A 6.25% to 12.5% mark-up applies to all new properties that are sold. This mark-up is shared between the realtors, the architects, the game designers, and the game players. And note that a further mark-up of 6.125% is added which buys electric cars; so, every resident in the development has an electric car, and so (in most places) we can ban petrol engines, with the exception of very prestigious cars like Ferraris and Aston Martins, as such luxuries seen often will increase the value of all real estate (the Moet Factor, courtesy of Dumani Mandela).

S-World VBN™ (Virtual Business Network)

S-World VBN (Virtual-Business-Network)

The precise battle lines of what income stream shall be attributed to S-World VSN™ and what is attributed to S-World VBN™ are still blurred. But what is known is that 50% of income from both will be shared between the two; so, VSN™ equity holders are incentivised to see VBN™ work and vice versa. Both projects then apply the same symmetry with the TBS™, S-World Films, & S-World UCS™; and in the future, S-World Water, Power, Foods, & Healthcare. All are better off with all 8 partners performing well.

What I can say is that the idea of connecting every database to every other database falls under the domain of S-World VBN™, under the name ‘S-World Connect’ and S-World VBN™, will take a percentage of everything sold via shops and offices in the virtual social network.

S-World-Connect

Because of S-World VSN™, all the shops will already be there. As people become more familiar with the system, it makes sense that they would look at the shops from time to time. And as the network becomes more popular, looking will change to buying.

However, we need to connect to their databases in order to add a mark-up percentage, or receive a commission in the order of 3.125% (but free for actual S-World companies).

This was not unlike my 2004 mission of connecting to a travel GDP (Global Distribution System), but now the language XML is no longer new, and many companies are already attached to one database or another. In 2014, we created our first such connection; it took a while to do, but the more you do, the easier it is.

This is where S-World Connect (VBN™) comes in, a mission to connect all the databases; and give a database as well as assistance to companies that are not currently selling online who would like to.

S-World-VBN

Both S-World and non S-World companies will have the opportunity to make their virtual shop look anyway they wish. Like a Tardis, the inside of each shop will be as grand or as plain as the business owner wishes. In fact, some shops could occupy an entire planet on the other side of the galaxy in the ‘S-World Oasis,’ if their followers or paid gamers have accrued enough points. More on this soon.

Back in the real world, if we imagine a fashion boutique, if they were part of S-World; then the local S-World Films company would take runway shots of the couture, and then display the catwalk, models, and high-end fashion (or low-end fashion) in the middle of their virtual stores. And there are hundreds and more ways to make a virtual store cool and ways to improve business in general.

Of course non S-World companies can pay S-World Films to create same for them, they just would need to pay a fair price.

However, the process of getting the business to sign up in the first place will be accelerated if existing business network such as Google My Business, Google Earth, LinkedIn, Facebook Business, Twitter Business, and other international and foreign language networks make the introductions.

There are 2 ways to do this that I can think of.

Firstly, and at the moment preferred, including such brands as equity holders and development partners in the project.

Secondly, and this point needs some brainstorming, is to licence out S-World VBN™ business access so business who wish to join S-World VBN™ would do so via one licensor or another. More on this in Book 8. ‘Audacious Ideas.’

S-World VSN™ Gaming Environment

S-World UCS - Universal Colonization Simulator

In general, gaming and simulations are the subject of S-World UCS ™. However, the gaming environment provided by VSN ™ will probably stay as a VSN function.

It’s a very simple idea, once we have created the environment, a duplicate of earth, we can use the environment to host and create all sorts of video games. Imagine playing ‘Call of Duty,’ but in your own town, and in your street, in your house even. How cool would that be?

Golf games could be played on local courses, or via ‘The Oasis’ on the Moon, on Mars or in a galaxy far away.

Just about every game has an environment that can be replicated somewhere on VSN™ Earth or VSN™ Simulated Universe, powered by the Gates code and ŔÉŚ

Of course, the game designers would need to integrate into the system in a way I’m not actually sure how, but we have great programmers and the S-World VSN™ Gaming Environment could become very popular, and more so due to the intrinsic connection to S-World UCS games and simulations.

S-World VSN™ Virtual University

S-World VSN (Europe & USA Per Capita GDP Asia & Africa)

In Thomas Piketty’s ‘Capital in the 21st Century,’ Piketty explains that due to convergence, for the last 30 years, Africa and Asia have been catching up with the USA and Europe. And that projects in poor countries that have access to good trade routes and education would ‘catch up’ the quickest.

We cover trade routes in the ‘Comparative Advantage’ chapter of Book 2. Part 2. ‘A More Creative Capitalism’; and in the same book, we show an S-World UCS™ simulation of the Lake Malawi Grand Network and tell of how in a handful of years, most of Rural Malawi can be powered and have limited 911 internet service that gave access to the TBS™, S-World UCS™ and S-World VSN™ and other 911 services, that in particular focused on education (plus, Facebook as it was Zuck’s idea). Giving 20 million Malawians a serious Paradigm Shift as they are plunged out of the 19th Century.

Then in a further chapter, we see how S-World businesses can support the full-time employment of many (hundreds of thousands) Malawians in either full time sport or education. (That ‘Economic Theory of Everything,’ can be pretty useful from time to time, Go ŔÉŚ!)

S-World-VSN

And in Book 3. ‘The GDP Game,’ we see the infrastructure and other plans for Malawi spread across another 3 dozen of the world’s poorest countries, educating the world! I’m so into this idea that significant equity is currently earmarked for top universities, who will become a pivotal part of the education strategy.

However, I did not have a particularly imaginative idea for S-World VSN™ University until reading Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One.

The extract follows:
S-World University

“All of my teachers were pretty great. Unlike their real-world counterparts, most of the OASIS public school teachers seemed to genuinely enjoy their job, probably because they did not have to spend half their time acting as baby sitters and disciplinarians. The OASIS software took care of that, ensuring that students remained quiet and in their seats. All the teachers had to do was teach.

It was also a lot easier for online teachers to hold their students’ attention, because here in the OASIS, the classrooms were like holodecks. Teachers could take their students on a virtual field trip every day, without ever leaving the school grounds.

During our world history lesson that morning, Mr. Avenovich loaded up a stand-alone simulation so that our class could witness the discovery of King Tut’s tomb by archaeologists in Egypt in AD 1922. (The day before, we’d visited the same spot in 1334BC and had seen Tutankhamen’s empire in all its glory.)”

Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One

Yeah, we can do it just like that!

Thanks, Cline. You have earned your first S-World VSN™ equity points. Hopefully joining the companies mentioned in S-World Connect and others who are either essential or just deserve it, such as others who have already added to the plan, even if they did not know they were doing so.
